Bobo Set to Miss Business End of CC

Western Province centre, Gcobani Bobo, will definitely miss this weekend's Currie Cup clash with the Valke at Newlands because of injury but a specialist opinion will today reveal whether or not he'll miss the rest of the season as well.

Bobo has apparently been struggling along with a shoulder injury that's got progressively worse since the start of the Currie Cup campaign. If Bobo needs surgery, he'll dfinitely be out for the rest of the season but should be fit for the Stormers at the start of the Super 14. Flyhalf Peter Grant had a similar problem and was out of action for six weeks post-op.

Meanwhile, Schalk Burger will today know if any further steps will be taken against him for his red card against the Free State Cheetahs at the weekend. He was yellow carded for pulling down a player in the lineout and was then given a straight red for his high tackle on Juan Smith.

Province coach, Allister Coetzee, is confident! Burger won't be on the sidelines for too long. He feels Burger's first yellow card was too harsh and should get away with a one-match ban at the most.
