No Lions test for Newlands

Newlands won't be getting a Springbok test against the British and Irish Lions next year.
SA Rugby MD Jonathon Stones says the stadium could not comply with the requirements of the tourists.
Apparently this relates to available tickets on the middle-line and in private suites.
SA Rugby says the stadium configuration is not ideal, partly because of the standing room area at Newlands as well.
WP Rugby Union CEO, Theuns Roodtman, says they were not comfortable with offering up the rights of season ticket holders and private suite owners, as the Lions demanded 8 thousand seats.
